Veterans Reduced – Tuition is transferable

For the first time, service members can transfer the tuition benefit to spouses or children. The benefit can be used for up to 15 years after the service member leaves active duty.

An Assisted Living Facility or Home Care Agency cannot pay for the filing of the application, or pay someone or organization to do so. Otherwise they are breaking the law.
