Take Action Re Alzheimer’s Disease

The Alzheimer’s Association has had a bill introduced on its behalf this Legislative Session, SB 400, requiring the Governor to proclaim the month of June as Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month. The bill was passed by the Senate earlier this week and has moved to the House of Delegates, where it will be heard by the Health and Government Operations Committee.

By raising public awareness and drawing more attention to Alzheimer’s disease, this bill will help promote early detection, connect families impacted by Alzheimer’s and related disorders to community resources and inform Marylanders about maintaining brain health.

Now we need YOUR help! Please email members of the House Government Operations Committee to urge them to pass Senate Bill 400. Click here for the email addresses of committee members.
