How does the VA rate a disability?
The veteran’s disability rating is dependent upon the severity of the condition and how it affects the veteran’s ability to earn a living. Ratings do not take into consideration an occupation; everyone is treated the same.
See 38 C.F.R , Chapter 1, Part 4 for a complete listing of conditions.
